The Mystery of a Lie

Idolizing the legend of one's short mystery,
Blood stops running through the veins
Of a dying body
Whose soul left, unnoticed,
A long time ago.

A shortness of breath announces
Life's last grasp,
While a fainting light
Is seen by the horizon,
The illusion of life reveals itself.

Happiness,
Existence's greatest lie,
Perpetuated by the power of the occult,
A body without matter
That's never hungry, that never sleeps.
